There's a gap between what a brand says and what people actually carry away from it - between a good plan and a moment someone remembers. Mind The Gap was built to live inside that space, and do something with it.
A model with no fixed shape.
The line exists only to be crossed.
For more than two decades, Birçim Öztaşkın led inside some of the world's largest communication networks — most recently as CEO of Publicis Communications Türkiye, where she brought separate agencies into a single working model: strategy, creativity, digital, production and operations, finally moving as one.
It was there that she noticed the gap that mattered most — not between agencies, but between a brand's plan and a person's actual experience of it. Closing that gap meant stepping outside the system that kept recreating it. So she did. Mind The Gap is what she built instead: a house with no fixed shape, made to fit the brand in front of it — not the other way around.
She thinks the way a strategist does — in systems, structures, and the long view. She reads and writes the way someone does who has spent a career quietly falling for stories. And she builds the way someone does who knows a brand can't be planned into being memorable — it has to be built into something people can step inside.
What she's known for, inside and outside boardrooms, is making the complicated sound simple — and proving, project after project, that a good idea only becomes valuable once it's told well, and felt fully.

Most studios are built around one of these and bring in the other two when asked. Mind The Gap was built around holding all three at the same time — because split apart, they're just functions on an org chart. Held together, they're the difference between a brand people recognize and one they actually carry with them.
In practice, a project rarely moves in a straight line from plan to execution. It moves the way a good idea actually grows: strategy raises a question, story finds its shape, experience tests whether it's true — and the answer feeds back into the strategy. Around and around, until what's left is something worth other people's time.
Systems, structures, the long view.
Shape, voice, the line you remember.
A place a brand can be stood inside.
They don't compete for attention — they take turns leading, depending on what a brand needs most.

The thread
The microstory crafting studio — co-founded by Birçim — built on the belief that no brand is boring, only under-told. Zazunga digs until it finds the narrative worth following, then gives it somewhere to travel.

The moment
A sensory experience and culture platform created by Birçim. The most convincing thing you can say about a brand is to let someone stand inside it. Spaces, gatherings, sensory and cultural moments — designed to be remembered with the body, not just the mind.
Each can be engaged on its own. The most interesting things happen when they're not.
If that sounds like where you are, the next part is short.
Mind The Gap tends to fit well with brands and leaders who:
Have outgrown a one-size-fits-all agency relationship, and want a partner who reshapes around the brief — not the other way around.
Know their plan is solid, but suspect the story isn't landing the way it should.
Want their brand to be experienced, not just communicated — in a room, at an event, in a feed, in a moment.
Are building something — a structure, a team, a platform — and want someone who's actually run one before.
Would rather have one accountable thinking partner than three vendors who don't talk to each other.
Birçim speaks the way she works — simplifying complex ideas, grounding them in real cases and usable methods, and leaving people with something they can act on, not just admire.
Available as keynote talks, tasting workshops, or experience-based private events.

The rooms where the thinking has been said out loud, and the brands that have trusted it enough to come back. A portfolio can list what was made. This is something closer to a trace — where the ideas have been spoken, and who has put them to work.

Where the thinking stops being words on a page, and starts moving — a voice, a room, a story caught mid-breath.
Some ideas read well. Others need to be seen. Here are a few worth looking at:
Not every challenge needs a full proposal before it can be said out loud. A line or two about what isn't working — or what you wish existed — is enough to start. Birçim reads these herself.
